Restaurant closed for renovations

Dear Valued Patron,

As you know Woodrows Heights is located in a building with lots of character, due in large part to the fact that it is a renovated house from the early 1900’s. Over the years the building has been host to countless great meals and wonderful times, but all the merriment has taken a toll. Thus, the time has come to shut to doors for a moment, and give our good old building a much needed renovation. We will cease operation after dinner service on Sunday June 14, 2015, and shall reopen on Friday August 21, 2015.

In the interim we shall be addressing both the major structural issues that require closure to repair, as well as taking the opportunity to upgrade our amenities on the patio, behind the bar, and the audio and video system. While our cooks are greatly looking forward to having a fully rebuilt kitchen, as a patron you can expect to come back to a building with all the charm of a well restored vintage automobile… this is to say that while we will be making upgrades to address our operational efficacy we will stay true to our soul, as an inviting down home eatery welcoming to any and all looking for a great scratch made meal and a good time!

Should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me directly at, and I will respond promptly. Rest assured that we will be open and ready to rock for football season, and can’t wait to share many more years of great experiences with you and your friends and family!
